I walked outside this morning at around 7 to find the weather was a warm 40-something degrees.
I wandered out again around 12 to find it a blustery 30-something. Again around 1 o'clock and I discovered the sun was shining and the snow was falling. And then I was glad not to be a meteorologist.
On my way from library I saw a line of kindergartners trotting toward me. One who I assumed to be the line leader informed one of the girls "You cutted!" And I noticed first of all that he attempted to make an irregular verb regular, which I think is a pretty amazing tendency for a five year old. How does his brain know to do that? I doubt he could explain why he added the 'ed' to the end of the verb.
And then I noticed that the cutter fell back obediently in her place, respecting the code of kindergartners. You just do not cut in line.
Please pray for the apartment hunt. I fell in love with one that was too expensive. And then I rejected 2 in the right price range because of size and creepiness respectively. I've also rejected about 5 others due to extreme priceyness.
And God is really awesome. He's not a God of destruction, He's one who creates, one who builds us up. Maybe he's building a nice living quarter for me right now.

Disappearing Act
I'm on my way to senior worldview seminar class. Then I need to pay a library fine. After that, I have a few emails to send, and perhaps an errand or two to run. Then I'm running away. I don't think I can make it to Tanzania or Morocco, or even New York or Chicago, but I'll see how far I can get.
