I'd like to recognize my cousin Krista as the first to wish me a happy brithday (Thanks, cuz).
Birthday activities: attended class, did a little shopping, received several lovely cards and notes (the homemade one was my favorite to all those who had a hand in it), painted a booth for homecoming, went out to eat with Jaleesa (sooo much fun! Now who would like a cookie?), went to teen-power where we grafittied a wall (legally), played rythm, donated sandwhiches to a democratic campaign location on Main street, and now here I am preparing to do homework. The whole day was strewn with you darling people texting and calling me and saying happy birthday. Thanks! It was a lovely birthday. Hugs all round!

Noteworthy activities (since last I blogged)
(A very parenthetical blog)
- Saw a tree fall on Dustin's car during YMCA ministry
- The power outage of '08 (they don't make them like that anymore)
- Stayed at the Barr's (not bars) as a refugee, I'd like to reference Tiffany's, Issaac's or Megan's blogs for more detail on that fun time. We had a cook out. I dropped my phone in lemonade (it was the best lemonade) . We got rhythm. It was a happy little vacation. We got on just swimmingly. Just ask Ohia or Stumpy. God bless the Barr family and enlarge their territories.
- Went to Indiana for Trish's wedding - A good time was had by all. I love weddings. Drinks all round.
- Went for a lovely midnight stroll with three cut-ups on a railroad track to a dam. Then I got movied out (well... almost) at Jaleesa's. Rocketman and Elf and Jim Carrey were funny but I had the most fun watching Pride and Prejudice.
- Went to a picnic (today) and learned a very fun new way of playing frisbee. Frisbee Melee is what I've chosen to call it and I highly recommend it for competitive people (but not people who bruise easily).
May the record show I blogged twice in September!

Nut (My summer) Shell
I apologize for the dearth of posts, but I come from a dry and thirsty land where there is no technology (but lots of happy corn and sundry other summery things). This blog is so you may see what I was doing while I was not blogging continually:

1) Went to the Columbus Zoo with my charming family
It was lots of fun, Krista and I got very confused, I petted a starfish

2) Found Kildeer eggs in the driveway and other summerish things

3) Went to Barbados
We went to the beach nearly every day and saw seaturtles. I got 70% tan and 30% sunburned.

4) Had a 4th of July picnic, again with my charming family.
We played bacci ball. So should you. Cause it's fun.

5) Got a dog! His name is Marvin
He is a snuffly little beggar and he drives me crazy. He actually is having some personal identity crisis because I call him Marvin and someone else calls him Chester. Other names he is called: Cornelius, Clarence, Baxter, and Oliver or Olly.

6) Went to Pheonix, Arizona to visit family
I was slightly grouchy because I had my wisdom teeth extracted two days before we left, but it was way fun. I want to go back and visit my newly discovered very fun Aunty Victoria and Uncle Tom.

My apologies to those who flew Flo with me, I have no pictures of that. Likewise my apologies to those I went to Cedar point and AYC with. I wish I could have posted pictures of you screaming and playing ball and stuff. I assure you it did happen, it is not a figment of your imagination, we just have no visual record of it.
And we all lived happily ever after.
